Nobody likes stale coffee or musty sandwich. Nobody likes to get fat by consuming nasty food either.
That's why it is timely for this book to arrive in Singapore cafe scene. Page-by-page café | sg: A Cafe Lover’s Guide to Singapore showcases curated, quality cafes by credible kopiholics whom you can trust. Featuring the usual suspects like Lola Cafe, Common Man Coffee Roasters and Toby's Estates (SG is a small country, you can't escape the widely-known ones), the book also dishes lesser known places for a good cuppa. Where's that? Read it up yourself.
One thing I like about this book is that particular page where it traces out the kopi-to-go places on Singapore MRT map. So next time when you need a quick fix you can immediately get your bearings.
As the English novelist Anthony Trollope says - 'What on earth could be more luxurious than a sofa, a book and a cup of coffee?' I couldn't agree more. But I would like to have accompany too. So jio me next time at Lola Cafe as I stay around there (the around is a very large circumference in Hougang) =)
